A virtual book-of-the-month club
The point of this community is to give us an outlet for all those times we've read a book and
thought, Man, I'd like to talk about this. Too bad we're not in classes together anymore. Or in classes at all for the most part.

We're trying to read books together. Sometimes that may mean reading the same book, but sometimes it may mean reading the same types of book and then comparing them. If you'd like to join, and you're not a stranger, we'll be glad to add you. We use our real names around here though, if you know what I mean.

So far we have a lot in common:
We were all Blount Scholars.
We all like Los Tarascos (a mexican restaurant in Tuscaloosa).
We've all read The Red Pony.
We all like people named Daniel.
We've all been to the Memphis Zoo.
We don't expect to be wildly popular or anything, because we like to keep things cozy.

Here's what we've read so far:
Book 1: The Red Pony (1933) by John Steinbeck
Book 2: Anything Non-fiction
Danny: Into the Wild (1996) by Jon Krakauer
